Here are some stats on the final month of 2011. It is great to see the Active number of listings down some over the five year average. With out a doubt, the number of active listings have been setting some records over the last two years. It would be even better to see the closed and pending sales numbers a little higher.
Next time I will be looking at our year end sales numbers which tell a much more complete story. It is always dangerous to put too much stock in the stats of just one month. Since we don't have that big of a market up here, they can swing widely from one month to another.
