Well, it's official. The 2011-2012 ski season has started with the first day of snow making. They actually started making snow last evening. I didn't notice it until I went out for a piece of firewood and that is where I heard the indisputable sound of the snow makers. Growing up across from the Wisp, I always had the opportunity to hear and see this day and it always brought out the adrenalin rush to know that it wouldn't be long before you would be making turns down the snow covered slopes. I guess it still does. Hope to ski you soon.
