Wow, What a storm that Sandy was. We did not get
the heavy rain and wind that affected so many up and down the east
coast. What we did get was some of the heaviest snow that any of us
have ever seen or should I say shoveled. Several things were unique
about it. It started coming down when the temps were still close to 40
degrees. The snow flakes were so big that someone said that they looked
more like
snowballs. Then came the lighting and thunder during the storm. This not only made quite a light storm but also added an electric charge to the snow and when you looked at it the next day it had a very distinct blue color to it.

These photos were taken out side my home on day 2. My 2 daughters got an unexpected week off school. They didn't seem to mind at all.
