So far this the sales numbers have been looking pretty good. Here we and see that the Active number of listings have dropped from the 5- Year Average. This is also good news.
The chart to the left shows that the number of closed sales for this past month is running just above the average for the month of March.
Pending sales appears to be below average for the month but I believe we are still above average for the year.
Ultimately you would like to see this number lower but as you can see this is right on the 5 year average.This is another number that we would love to see lowered. Typically our DOM or Day on Market is much higher then other metro areas. This is a result of the secondary home market being our primary market. As a result you have buyer how have no urgency to buy and seller who are not terribly motivated to sell. It takes much longer time to bring these two parties into agreement.
