Just a quick note -  at last night’s commissioner meeting the county commissioners approved taking Overlook Pass into the county roads system.  

This brings to an end the status of this road that has been in limbo after the previous owners of the WISP sold to the new owners.  The new WISP owners did not take ownership and no one else wanted ownership due to the huge liability and expense.  After the Board of Realtors pulled representatives from several key bodies that all had an interested in this road, they were able to come to a mutual agreement on sharing the expenses and the County will do all the maintenance.  This is great news as thousands travel on this road to get to the top of Marsh mountain and the top of the Wisp resort.
